Computational engines built on necessity

Ananke Engines develops deep technology where mathematics, physics and computation meet: systems whose behaviour follows from their constraints.

Flagship Emergent, domain-agnostic FEM solver Describe the test. The solver determines the physics.

Engines that find what a problem necessarily implies.

We are working toward computation in which the model follows from the problem itself.

First principles

We start from what must hold: conservation laws, constraints, the rules of the system. Everything else is derived from them, not borrowed by analogy or picked from a catalogue.

  1. iBegin with what cannot be otherwise.
  2. iiDerive the rest; assume nothing that can be derived.
  3. iiiTrust a result only if it traces back to its principles.
  1. 1 / 4

    Order

One rule, repeated: circles at a fixed spacing.

  2. 2 / 4

    Interaction

A second system enters, offset from the first. Neither rule changes.

  3. 3 / 4

    Complexity

The overlap produces a pattern that neither system contains.

  4. 4 / 4

    Emergence

The pattern is lawful. Each fringe is a hyperbola with its foci at the two centres, a consequence of rules that never mention it.

Today the principle drives a simulation engine. The same principle extends to swarms, to search, and to the languages machines are written in.

One centre, engines in orbit.

Drag to turn the system. Each planet grows as its engine matures. The centre and FEM open now.

  1. 01 Flagship TRL 4

    Emergent, domain-agnostic FEM solver

Make engineering simulation trustworthy for equipment that cannot be tested to destruction.

Large transformers, primary steel structures and other critical equipment are built once. Their design rests on simulation, and every simulation rests on a modelling choice made by hand before the first calculation. The solver makes that choice explicit, checkable and repeatable.

    Deterministic
The same problem gives the same result, every time.
    Traceable
Every modelling decision can be explained and defended.
    Domain-agnostic
One solver for mechanics, heat, flow, electromagnetics and their couplings.
    AI as operator
AI can run the platform. It never decides the result.

    How it works

The engineer describes the test: geometry, materials, loads and boundary conditions. The platform determines which physical phenomena matter and how they interact, solves them with standard numerical methods and records the reason for every choice.

    1. 01

      Problem specification

Geometry, materials, loads, boundary conditions. No equations.

    2. 02

      Physics determined

The platform decides which phenomena matter and how they couple.

    3. 03

      Solution

Standard numerical methods solve the description.

    4. 04

      Traceable result

Every choice along the way can be explained.

    Maturity
TRL 4 today. Components integrated and tested in the laboratory.
    Target
TRL 6 with validation partners. Demonstration in a relevant environment.
    Verification
NAFEMS linear-elastic and thermal benchmark suites.
    Scope
Mechanics, heat, flow, electromagnetics and their combinations.
    Results
Deterministic and reproducible. No statistical model decides an answer.

Help us validate the solver against equipment that has already been measured.

Benchmarks show that equations are solved correctly. Only measurements on real equipment show that the physical description is right. That step needs partners with measured data.

How a blind validation works

Typical duration 3–6 months per case. Historical test results are ideal: no new measurements, no cost, no risk to production.
